Leamington Spa Garden Services offer a wide range of hedge cutting and landscaping services to meet all of your gardening needs. Providing all facets for your general gardening needs, including hedge trimming, hedge cutting and edging, as well as planting, fencing and maintenance. Not only do we provide a yearly general garden care service but also offer an annual hedge trimming schedule to ensure that your garden looks great all season long. This includes hedge trimming, edging and mulching. In addition, they will gladly help you decide what plants will best suit your particular climate and landscape needs.
Hedge trimming is the essential step that must be taken prior to planting. A hedge trimmer ensures that your hedge bushes are at proper growth length and will not grow beyond their destined limits. In order to do this, hedge trimmers can prune branches that grow beyond a certain point where they can no longer handle the weight. Also, hedge trimmers will shape branches in order to promote new growth while also removing dead, broken or damaged branches so that the entire hedge will remain healthy and strong. We can also deal with tall hedges that requires raised platforms to reach the top.
Bird Nests (Bird Nesting Season)
We will take care as to not disturb any nesting birds at all times. We avoid cutting garden hedges during the main breeding season, which is from March to August each year. Bird nests need to protected and we do our bit for the wild bird community! We are also conscious of the local wildlife that may be affected by cutting a hedge and we will advise accordingly if we encounter any such issues.
If you wish to get into more detailed hedge trimming and landscaping tasks, hedge cutters have hedge trimmer attachments that make pruning easier. These attachments for hedge trimmers include hedge trimmer spikes, which allow you to get into tough, thickened areas. There is also hedge trimmer wire, which allows you to easily cut and shape bushes and shrubs when they are placed in the desired location. This enables you to use hedge trimmers without having to worry about getting injured from a ladder or getting too close to a tree. Regardless of what hedge trimmer you choose to purchase, it is important to remember that hedge trimming requires patience and time, and with proper care hedge trimmers can last a long time.

Neighbours
If you have a hedge that divides you and your neighbour, then it’s worth checking with them prior to any trimming work. They may want to take care of their own side or may also want us to do it for them. We’re happy either way. Neighbours are usually receptive to work on joint hedges if you speak to them nicely and inform you of your intentions.
We use a mixture of manual, electric and petrol hedge trimmer equipment and will use whatever is appropriate for the location where we work.
